MEMENTO MORI

The artistic fascination with entropy traces back to living through hurricane Hurricane Andrew as a small child, a huge and powerful category five hurricane that hit Miami in 1992.

It devastated the city and the haunting beauty that the hurricane left in it's path both left a sense of amazement and terror

There is a terminal elegance present in macabre imagery because of its universality; entropy and death is both what links all life together and tears it apart.

The artwork speaks to the of beauty of life and the fragility of nature.
